Non-Statutory Delegated Safeguarding Partner for Education Vacancy

Secondment Opportunity - Up to 20 Hours Per Month - Initial 12-Month Term

The Norfolk Safeguarding Children's Partnership (NSCP) is seeking an experienced and influential educational leader to undertake the role of Non-Statutory Delegated Safeguarding Partner for Education (EDSP). The post will provide visible, high‑level leadership and ensure that the collective voice of schools and colleges is represented as the fourth (non-statutory) safeguarding partner within Norfolk’s Multi-agency safeguarding arrangements.

As the Education Delegated Safeguarding Partner, the successful candidate will provide visible, strategic leadership on behalf of the education sector within Norfolk's safeguarding partnership arrangements. They will work closely with sector representatives from Education Safeguarding Sub-Group, the Education Safeguarding Team and NSCP Business Unit to ensure effective communication between education settings and the multi-agency partnership. 

Given the strategic significance of this role, it is offered to an existing Headteacher or above working in Norfolk as a secondment opportunity for up to 20 hours per month for an initial period of 12 months.
