Norfolk Takeover Week May 2025

We’ve come to the end of another fantastic Practice Week, aptly named Norfolk Takeover Week, which has been brilliantly led by young people across Norfolk.

The week has featured a series of youth-led events and activities aimed at amplifying the voices of children and young people in the county and I hope you’ve enjoyed the resources that have been shared throughout.

Highlights of the week included the fantastic youth-led content which was shared in the daily bulletins and included performances, discussions, and creative expressions. If you missed any of the bulletins you can find them on the Norfolk Takeover Week page. We also hosted the Understood, Not Overlooked Conference on Wednesday which focused on the rights of children and young people to play and featured keynote speaker Eugene Minogue, CEO of Play England. The conference presented findings from the Flourish survey, which gathered insights from over 9,000 young people in Norfolk. If you couldn’t attend, you can watch it back on YouTube.
