Safer Training Booking

Training application data is collected on behalf of the Norfolk Safeguarding Children Partnership. We take your privacy seriously and will ensure compliance with General Data Protection Regulations (2016). We are the ‘data controller’ and are responsible for, and control the processing of, your personal information.

How information about you will be used

The contact information you provide is being collected to enable us to manage your application for the training course you are applying for.

Your name and contact information will be shared with:

  • Members of the Norfolk Safeguarding Children Partnership Business Support Team
  • The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub in any situation where safeguarding concerns are identified
  • Law enforcement agencies in any situation where unlawful activity is identified

We will keep the data for 5 years.

We will use technological and organisation measures to keep your information secure. However, while we will use all reasonable efforts to secure your personal data, in completing this application you acknowledge that the use of the internet is not entirely secure and for this reason we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of any personal data that is transferred from you via the internet. ***TRAINING UPDATE***
We are starting to deliver a few of our courses face to face now, although most will still be delivered online via Zoom.

We offer 3 types of online Introduction to Safeguarding Children courses – a 1 day course, an evening course over 2 nights and a course for those involved in sport groups.

We also offer training for Core Programme, Reflecting and Refreshing Courses, Designated Safeguarding Person, Introduction to E-Safety and Safer Recruitment.

We are also offering some free workshops and these are prefixed with a >.   Please note – we reserve the right to charge you for non-attendance for these free workshops if you haven’t notified us in advance.
