Safer Conference - 9th July 2024
The Safer Conference is running for the whole day, and we have five talks arranged covering a wide range of safeguarding issues from a range of different guest speakers. This conference is only available to Safer Members.

We have the pleasure of announcing the following speakers:
- Kate Biles from The Daisy Programme who will be talking about domestic abuse and the impact it has on children and young people.
- Jordan Williams from GamCare who will be talking about gambling and the risks and harm it can cause for young people.
- Bruce Clark Detective Chief Inspector in Safeguarding and Investigation at Norfolk Police who will be talking about Child Exploitation, extra-familial harm and risky peer relationships.
- Russ Cole Preventing Radicalisation Co-ordinator in Norfolk County Council Children’s Services will be talking about The Prevent Duty and its impact on children and young people.
- Sarah Healy, Safeguarding Manager and Luke Adcock Service Manager from The Matthew Project YouCan Service will be talking about the impact of substance misuse on children and young people.
This is an online conference which will be hosted on Microsoft Teams for Safer members only.
