Family Help - 6 month milestone
This week marks 6 months of Norfolk County Council's Family Help model across the County! and they couldn’t let this date pass without acknowledging and celebrating this milestone and thanking everyone for the hard work and dedication so far.
5th March, 2025

Jen Dewar, Assistant Director, Family Help and Child Protection, is incredibly proud of the dedicated, committed workforce across Family help, but said they couldn’t do any of it without the support and ongoing relationships we have with our colleagues, across all services and partner agencies.
"It is so important to look back and reflect upon how far we have come, how we have all learnt and adapted, how our practice has changed to support children and their families and areas for further development. I am truly committed to ensuring everyone has the opportunity to share their experience to date, and together work to review the model and our impact for children and their families."
Jen Dewar would very much welcome feedback, questions, and comments from everyone, to be able to reflect this back to teams and in shaping the progress of Family Help. Our relationship with our partners is crucial to practice, safeguarding and support for children and their families – the success to date is a testament to the positive joint agency working and relationship-based practice across Norfolk.
Please do reach out to Jen Dewar directly, or to her executive support assistant Elizabeth Harris who can collate any feedback, lleagues, across all services and partner agencies.
